Schedule: Wednesdays

The jam session at Rose's Diner takes place in front of varied crowd sizes. It just depends who is hungry on Wednesday nights. The setting is intimate but informal, and everybody is welcome to come in for the music or just some good home-cooked food. The music tends to be mainly bluegrass and gospel, but old-time players are welcome too. Acoustic instruments only, please.

Directions: From I-81 take Exit 17 at Abingdon, VA. Turn towards Abingdon at the bottom of ramp, go 1 mile to Main Street, and turn left. Take a right on Hwy. 19 North, which also becomes Hwy. 58 for several miles. Make a left on West Alternate 58 (just past Ken's Chrysler), which will lead to Castlewood. After Castlewood, turn right onto Hwy. 63 and follow for 20 miles into McClure. Rose's Diner is on the left across from Kwik Market.
